Series AMJ is effective for removing water droplets from the air sucked into vacuum pumps and ejectors. Over 90% of droplets can be removed through the use of a special water droplet removing element. The provision of a drain cock makes it possible to discharge the drain manually after breaking the vacuum. Even when the element is saturated with water, there is almost no drop in pressure (increase in resistance).

Series AMV exhaust cleaner separates and removes over 99.5% oil mist in compressed air and solid particles of more than 0.3µm. It can operate in temperatures between 5° to 80°C if there is no risk of freezing the moisture in the air.

A low maintenance filter, series FN1 eliminates the need for element replacement. SMC's unique element construction is composed of a series of grooved filter plates and wave washers placed one above the other. When compressed, the gaps between the filter plates and wave washers filter foreign matter. When decompressed, the element widens the gap between the filter plates and wave washers, allowing dust and foreign particles caught between the plates to be washed away. The gaps between the filter plates are equally maintained by the wave washers to allow stable back-flush operation.

Quick change filter series FQ1 requires no tools for replacement of the element. Element replacement, including removing liquid, can be accomplished in less than 2 minutes. Element sizes include 125mm, 250mm and 500mm. Materials include PP, cotton, SUS304 (epoxy resin) and SUS316 (nickel solder). Other elements are available as made-to-order.

FH series suction filters are compact and lightweight.  Designed with an aluminum casted housing.  Element can be replaced by simply opening the cover to detach the element without touching the pipes.  The filter can be fitted with a differential pressure indicator which senses when the element is becoming dirty, facilitating maintenance and helping to avoid pump damage such as cavitations.  The FHG series suction guard was designed to prevent collected dust from falling into the tank.  Since all dust is eliminated during trial operation, it is not necessary to replace flushing oil.  Options include differential pressuare indicator, differential pressure indication switch, air breezer, and cap.
