Series AF modular style air filter is a cost effective, clean looking solution to your filtration needs. Its' modular design allows connection with other SMC air preparation equipment. The series is available in six size options with a wide range of accessories.

Micro mist separator series AFD is available in 3 sizes; 1/4 (20), 3/8 (30) & 1/2 (40). Rc(PT), PF & NPT threads are available. Port sizes range from 1/8 to 3/4. Accessories include bracket, float type auto drain, and differential pressure type auto drain.

Series AFM Modular Style Mist Separator is a cost effective, clean looking solution to your filtration needs. The standard filtration is 0.3µm with a 95% particle size collection rate. The modular design allows connection with other SMC air preparation equipment. Use in combination with the AF series to meet your clean room filtration requirements. The AFM is available in 3 size options.

The AMG series water separator is installed on the air pressure line to remove water drops from compressed air. It is available in 7 sizes with a variety of optional combinations to meet your application requirements.

Series AM can separate and remove oil mist in compressed air, which is difficult to remove by ordinary air filters and removes solid particles such as rust or carbon of more than 0.3 micron. It is the most suitable for air sources that drive pilot, metal seal solenoid valves.

Series AMD can separate and remove aerosol state oil mist in compressed air and remove carbon or dust of more than 0.01um. It should be used as prefilter for compressed air in precision instruments or for clean room requirements.

Series AME separates and absorbs aerosol state fine oil particles in compressed air and changes the oil lubricating compressed air to oil-free equivalent air. It should be applied for filtration of compressed air requiring high cleanliness for coating lines, compressed air for clean rooms and compressed air for equipment necessary to avoid oils.

Series AMF odor removal filter efficiently removes odor in compressed air with an activated carbon element. The unit is designed for use in food processing, pharmaceutical, brewing and breathing systems where odor must be removed.

Series AMH is a high precision, micro-mist separator combined with a prefilter. The AMH can separate and eliminate aerosol state oil mist in compressed air and remove carbon or dust of more than 0.01micron. The AMH series is suitable for drying/cleaning pneumatic measurement instruments (air micrometer) and precision parts.

Series AFF is mounted to main piping to remove impurities like oil, water and foreign matter in compressed air. No screw threads or tie rods are required; therefore, removal and replacement of the element is made quick and easy. Series AFF improves the function of downward dryers, extends the life of precision filters and prevents trouble with equipment.

AFW large capacity compressed air filters and centrifugal water separators ensure high quality compressed air, which is essential to pneumatic and automation systems.  Correct air preparation minimizes component failure, increases the operating life of equipment and reduces energy consumption.  Filters and separators are suitable for use with mineral and synthetic oils, plus oil-free compressed air applications.  Depending on the model, flow capacities are available from 475 to 16100 CFM.

Series AMJ is effective for removing water droplets from the air sucked into vacuum pumps and ejectors. Over 90% of droplets can be removed through the use of a special water droplet removing element. The provision of a drain cock makes it possible to discharge the drain manually after breaking the vacuum. Even when the element is saturated with water, there is almost no drop in pressure (increase in resistance).

Series AMV exhaust cleaner separates and removes over 99.5% oil mist in compressed air and solid particles of more than 0.3µm. It can operate in temperatures between 5° to 80°C if there is no risk of freezing the moisture in the air.

A low maintenance filter, series FN1 eliminates the need for element replacement. SMC's unique element construction is composed of a series of grooved filter plates and wave washers placed one above the other. When compressed, the gaps between the filter plates and wave washers filter foreign matter. When decompressed, the element widens the gap between the filter plates and wave washers, allowing dust and foreign particles caught between the plates to be washed away. The gaps between the filter plates are equally maintained by the wave washers to allow stable back-flush operation.

Quick change filter series FQ1 requires no tools for replacement of the element. Element replacement, including removing liquid, can be accomplished in less than 2 minutes. Element sizes include 125mm, 250mm and 500mm. Materials include PP, cotton, SUS304 (epoxy resin) and SUS316 (nickel solder). Other elements are available as made-to-order.

FH series suction filters are compact and lightweight.  Designed with an aluminum casted housing.  Element can be replaced by simply opening the cover to detach the element without touching the pipes.  The filter can be fitted with a differential pressure indicator which senses when the element is becoming dirty, facilitating maintenance and helping to avoid pump damage such as cavitations.  The FHG series suction guard was designed to prevent collected dust from falling into the tank.  Since all dust is eliminated during trial operation, it is not necessary to replace flushing oil.  Options include differential pressuare indicator, differential pressure indication switch, air breezer, and cap.
